REG 11.55.05 – Raffles (Repealed)

Repealed November 9, 2011.  The Raffle Regulation was repealed in order to reduce bureaucracy and because the prohibitions/limitations on raffles are contained exactly as written in NCGS 14-309.15. Ultimately the regulation is redundant and State law is sufficient to regulate the activity. In its place, it is recommended that Registered Student Organization Handbook include notice to the students of the existence of the law and the requirement to follow it when conducting a raffle.
