RUL 02.61.06 – Circulation of Bound Journals Between D.H. Hill Library and Its Branches

1.   Purpose

To provide information resources, both print and electronic, to further the teaching, research and learning efforts of faculty and students at NCSU, and to provide a uniform borrowing procedure for all libraries in the NCSU Libraries system.

2.   Procedures

2.1. Bound journals may be requested from D. H. Hill Library or the branches (Design Library, Natural Resources Library, Textiles Library, Veterinary Medical Library) for delivery to another library on campus for a period of 24 hours.

2.2. The volume(s) will be available to the requesting user at the borrowing library for 4 hours and then returned to the lending library as soon as possible or within 24 hours.

2.3.   Unbound journals do not circulate under any circumstances.
