1. INTRODUCTION:
Credit course registration limits for non-degree (i.e. Lifelong Education) students are established by University Undergraduate Admissions. The Adult Credit Programs Unit of the McKimmon Center for Extension & Continuing Education (MCE&CE) has administrative responsibility as part of its registration and advising role for Lifelong Education students.
2. REQUIREMENTS:
2.1. Lifelong Education students may enroll in a maximum of two courses and a physical education course each semester or summer session.
Students requesting exception to this rule must:
2.1.1. have first attended NC State or another university for a minimum of two regular semesters (i.e. Fall and Spring), have a Grade Point Average of 2.5 or better, be at least 21 years of age, and
2.1.2. submit the form, “Request to Take More Than Two Courses as a Lifelong Education Student” to the Office of Adult Credit Programs.
