  1. Purpose:Listing of Required Course Materials with NCSU Bookstores

1.1  All course related materials that students are required, recommended, or instructed to use for courses taught at NCSU shall be listed with NCSU Bookstores by faculty members responsible for courses.  Such materials shall include standard textbooks and manuals from publishing houses, reprinted or photocopied books or manuals produced by local vendors, digital content, e-books, instructor produced content, alternate web content, or free course content.  When applicable  all such course related materials  may be made available through NCSU Bookstores to students who desire to purchase the materials on campus.  For materials that cannot be made available through the bookstore but are available at off-campus locations, a list will be posted displaying the name and location of the commercial enterprise or source location where the materials can be obtained.  NCSU Bookstores will share all listings received from faculty members with any commercial enterprise interested in selling required course materials to NCSU students.  A nominal charge may be levied for each listing sufficient to cover costs of reproduction and related overhead.
