REG 11.55.07 - Registered Student Organizations: Regulation for Undergraduate Student Leadership, Membership, and Registration 2014-02-21 17:11 Revised to comply with UNC General Administration’s requirement that each university adopt model language regarding nondiscrimination against religious and political organizations, including how these types of groups may select their membership and leadership. Minor changes were also made to the regulation’s structure and formatting, and also to reflect updated practices.
REG 08.00.03 - Data Management Procedures 2014-02-17 12:51 Revised to define and clarify the different levels of university data. Section 6 (Data Classification Statement) has been modified to explicitly describe the different categories of data and their associated security protection level (ultra-high, high, moderate, normal, unclassified). In addition, another level of ownership for application sponsors was created in section 3.4.

RUL 05.67.706 - College of Sciences Standards and Procedures for Reappointment, Promotion and Tenure 2013-12-17 11:51 Revised to represent the consolidation of a new department, Biological Sciences, into the college and renaming of the college from Physical and Mathematical Science (PAMS) to the College of Sciences.
REG 05.20.27 - Statements of Mutual Expectations 2013-12-13 15:09 In response to recommendations from the University RPT Committee, revised: (1) to require that the signed and dated SME from the personnel file must be scanned and inserted in Section 1 of the Dossier (section 1); (2) to suggest that reviews of SMEs may also be appropriate when there are changes in department leadership and may include members of the DVF (section 1); (3) to clarify that the SME will provide the basis for annual and post-tenure review as well as promotion and tenure reviews (section 1); (4) to clarify that fulfilling the responsibilities defined in the SME is necessary but not alone sufficient for reappointment, promotion and conferral of tenure (section 1); and (5) to require that the SME define the mix of responsibilities expected of the faculty member (section 2.4).
REG 05.20.05 - Consultation and Written Assessments, Recommendations and Responses in RPT Review 2013-12-13 12:36 Revised (1) clarify the basis and procedures for recusal from voting on RPT cases (section 1.5 and 1.6); and (2) to reflect options for joint and interdisciplinary reviews (section 1.7 and throughout).

(Dossier section VII. EXTERNAL EVALUATIONS); and (3) to make minor changes to formatting instructions(Section 2).
